Money – love it or hate it. Earn it or lose it. Believe it or not, makes or,breaks a man. Money, lots of it or none of it, spells all the difference in a man’s outlook in life. Someone said, “I’ve been poor and I’ve been rich. Rich is better.”
Money determines a lot of decisions a man has to take: where to live, what school to go to, where to shop, what food to eat, and a whole lot more. Most people, young or old, rich or poor, splurge on shopping. Of course, the rich go to Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord and Taylor, Neiman Marcus. The poor go on a spree at Walmart, Goodwill Stores, and the like. My point is not to discriminate on shopping habits but to echo the resounding voice that money does affect our lifestyle .
Another point worth mentioning is that most people think about money more than anything in life. It is no wonder even the Bible records that Jesus spoke more verses on money than on prayer. God knows a lot about what’s going on in a person’s mind.
Money is what I would call “amoral”. It is neither good or bad, by itself. Who has it, depending on that person’s heart or motive, actually decides the moral value of money. In the hands of a criminal, money becomes a tool of evil. In the hands of a righteous man, it becomes a tool of good.
Money is useful. It is a means of trade and exchange. You and I need it, (lots of it). Having a healthy understanding of money will open the road to prosperity. A lot of people suffer from lack and poverty because of ignorance about how money works.
I’ve been there myself. I have no new principles to teach or formulas to give to make you have more money. What I bring to you, my friends, are age old nuggets of wisdom that are simple and practical. These principles have been here for ages. It’s when you discover them for yourself, and see their value, and use them to your advantage, that you will be able to come to the conclusion that they do really work.
